Colossians 2:10 - And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
I love assembling puzzles, when I have time. The more pieces the better. The more difficult, bring it on! I like to be challenged. Every year at Christmas time, my grandparents have a get together. Every year they buy a new puzzle and family members, during the course of the day, put the puzzle together. I waste no time sitting down and doing my part to put the puzzle together.
One of the most frustrating things about puzzles, especially older puzzles, is when there is a piece or pieces missing! How aggravating! The puzzle is just not the same. For me, it comes to the point where I wish I wouldn't have put the puzzle together in the first place. I like a complete puzzle. The greatest accomplishment of puzzle building is to put in the final piece.
You know, our lives are the same way. Wouldn't it be great to have a life that is complete?
Many people go through their life thinking they are on their way to heaven by what they do. Just being good doesn't cut it. What determines how good you are anyway? Yourself. That is hilarious. God has a different standard that He goes by ... he doesn't use your standard! You are missing a piece of the puzzle.
You might have been baptized and think that will get you a reservation in heaven. Let me applaud your efforts, but you are still missing the piece of the puzzle.
You say you have saved someone's life, bought your neighbor's groceries, paid a friend's bills. I bet you stay away from drugs and alcohol. These are all good things to boast about. Sorry, you're still missing a piece of the puzzle.
Surely reading the Bible and praying will get God's attention and let you in the doors of heaven. Hmmm, good, but still missing the piece.
All these things do not get you anything but a pat on the back. The final missing piece of the puzzle of your life is Jesus Christ. Without Christ you have no hope of heaven.
The Bible says, "And ye are complete in him (Jesus), which is the head of all principality and power:" Colossians 2:10 Your life is not complete without having Jesus in your life. You may be feeling a void or emptiness in your life. Jesus fills that emptiness. Click Here to see how to get the final piece of the puzzle of your life.
Say you are a Christian, are you fitting that special final piece of the puzzle in your everyday life? Do you put Jesus in everything you do?
